Instead of building features, build around jobs. What task is the user trying to complete? What outcome are they seeking? If your AI helps them finish that job faster, with more confidence, you’re on the right track.

Resist the Urge to Over-Ship

Just because AI enables rapid development doesn’t mean every feature is a good idea. Introduce friction. Validate. Kill features that don’t resonate. Discipline is more important than speed when finding PMF.

Rebuilding Trust Between Tech and Need

Product-market fit isn’t gone—it’s just buried under AI hype, inflated metrics, and a flood of undifferentiated offerings. AI isn’t the villain here. It’s a tool. But like any powerful tool, it can cause damage when used carelessly.

To navigate this new era, founders, product leaders, and investors need to recalibrate. It’s time to move beyond novelty and focus on utility. Listen harder. Validate deeper. Build slower—until you're sure you're building the right thing.
